Video: Philadelphia TV Station Reports On FALLING IN REVERSE Frontman's Latest Arrest
October 4, 2012FALLING IN REVERSE frontman Ronnie Radke was arrested after the band's FestEvil performance in New Jersey for throwing four microphone stands into the audience and injuring a pair of audience members.
The incident happened Saturday night, September 29 at the Six Flags Great Adventure theme park.
One of the victims, a teenage girl, was left with a cut on top of her head and bruising on her forehead.
"The 16-year-old female suffered a three-inch laceration to her scalp which required staples to close. She was also diagnosed with a concussion," Jackson Township Police Captain John Siedler told WPVI-TV.
The other victim, 24-year-old Phillip Schwartz, walked away with a bloody gash in the head that required three staples to close the wound.
"I went to touch it and I felt my finger go into the wound and I said 'there's a dent in my head. There's a dent in my head,'" Schwartz said.
Kristin Siebeneicher, a spokeswoman for the theme park, released a statement in which she said that this was the first time a metal band has ever appeared there and it will be the last. "We have no plans to host another metal show," she said. "This performer was completely reckless. He had complete disregard for the safety of his fans. His actions were totally unacceptable. It's not the type of entertainment that we want to be producing."
Radke, who was released on $25,000 bail, was previously arrested back in August on an outstanding warrant for domestic assault.
FALLING IN REVERSE is scheduled to kick off "The Thug In Me Is You" tour on October 11 in Portland, Oregon.
